Lawrence to perform at Chicago Shakespeare Theater with A.B.L.E.
To say I am proud of the A.B.L.E. ensemble is a massive understatement. This fall, our teen ensembles - 20 young actors the Down syndrome and other developmental differences - have been putting their stamp on an old classic, Cyrano de Bergerac. We’ve got plenty of comedy, romance and swordfighting in this beautiful adaptation, and will be sharing it for ONE NIGHT ONLY on Thursday May 17 at Chicago Shakespeare Theater.
We are some of the first performers in the world to take the stage at CST’s newest venue - The Yard. At over 650 seats, this world-class venue will be the largest house the ensemble has ever performed in. We are grateful for the chance to reach a wider audience and share all that these actors are A.B.L.E. to do!
